Happy Birthday Elissa!

Today was Elissa's birthdy party and we went over to Aunt Lisa's to celebrate her birthday with an awesome swim party! Brant LOVED their diving board and spent most of his time on it. He kept diving into the pool swimming up to the ladder and then getting out to start all over again. He even gave us a huge scare when he went to try to dive off the diving board without his life jacket on, but thankfully I caught him and his Daddy got into the pool for him to jump to him with his life jacket off before he had to put it on and keep it on if he wanted to be near the pool. Elissa had some yummy cupcakes and of course Brant had one and made a huge adorable mess. I'm so glad he had such a great time. He got to continue the fun by going home with Aunt Jenny tonight to spend the night with her and his cousins Hannah and Lynzie so that Daddy and Mommy could have a night to themselves. Boy's Breakfast Club

Every weekend the guys in Jason's family that are available and some of their guy friends get together somewhere to have breakfast together. Jason goes when he can with Brant. Today he took him and I made him take the camera. I wasn't there since it's a guys breakfast and it is nice for me to have some downtime in the house where it is quiet while they are out having guy bonding time. Brant loves visiting with his Grandpa Allen and Great Grandpa Allen along with all his Uncles that come and his cousin Brian if he makes it. Brant helps keep them entertained and they sugar him up and send him home like most relatives do. :)

Funny Bugs Awards

Today was Brant's last day of Funny Bugs class for the summer semester. I enrolled him in two classes this summer as well as swim lessons, and this month we got to take one more additional class for free. So this summer during August we were super busy with Little Gym Monday, Wednesday and Friday and swim lessons on Tuesdays we had one activity every day except Thursday. I'm glad we stayed busy and got to do lots of fun stuff together this summer, since it has gone by so fast. This time we went to Funny Bugs class for his awards ceremony on a Saturday since I'm already back to work and I couldn't take him on Friday with his regular class. He is so fun to watch on show week showing off his skills with even more pride than normal and they even got out the air track and told the parents they could get on with the kids. Brant of course wanted us to get on with him, so I went on the air track a few times with him, and it is harder than it looks getting off of it, and I felt very unsteady but had a great time jumping with him.
