Potty Time

I am excited to say that Brant went pee-pee in the potty today! He has his own little potty in the house that he has been sitting on for a while today. He went in it twice today! Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come and he will continue to do well on the potty, but right now I'm just proud of him for going by himself. He has decided that he should have books to read while he is on the potty as you will see in the pictures (don't worry he is covered). He was also attempting to say cheese in one of the pictures (thus the silly face).

Animal Sounds

Twinkle Twinkle

I've been working with Brant on singing Twinkle Twinkle in the car on the way home from school. He can now sing the last word of every line. Here he is with Mommy (please ignore my singing) singing Twinkle Twinkle.

Trike Time!

Aunt Tina passed down an awesome red tricycle for Brant to use, they gave me a helmet too but his head is too big for it. I took Brant to Wal-mart today to get a new helmet and had to buy him one in the 3+ size because the toddler size was too small. I don't know if you'll be able to see in the pictures or not but it is a Cars helmet with Lightning McQueen on it. He was so excited to see the helmet in the stores since Cars is currently his favorite movie. He got some time trying out the trike with his helmet on with Daddy's help and without. He hasn't figured out how to push the pedals yet on his own but keeps his feet on them well if we are pushing him. He went through spurts about liking the helmet on or off and got upset at times wanting it off quickly. I am so excited that he is enjoying the tricycle so much and I look forward to much more trike time in the future. PJ PARTY!

Since it was my last day home with Brant before going back to school we stayed in our pajamas until after naptime and hung out and played together. We watched the rest of Robin Hood (Disney version) and then we watched Cars (Disney). He had a blast hanging out on the couch with Mommy and then dancing to the tunes on the movies. He loves his Vroom Vroom movie (Cars) and we ended up watching it twice today. Here are some pictures of him relaxing on the couch and dancing.
