Brant is a boy's boy most of the time and even though he loves pink he is always playing sports, playing rough, and in the last few months pretending to be a super-hero. Most of the time he calls himself the Ra-Man and gives out a huge "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" scream after saying that. He is so cute. He also likes to show off super-hero moves like punches so I got a few pictures of him showing off some super-hero moves and just some sweet pictures of him too. Here they are.

Silly Sleeper
So today when I went to get Brant up from his nap this is what I saw. I went to get Jason to see our silly sleeper before he woke up and of course I brought my camera in to take a picture. Here are the pictures of our silly sleeper taking a nap on the floor and then waking up to the flash of Mommy's camera.

Bubbles...are there any in there?
Today Brant and I went outside after his nap to play with his large bubble wand. He kept trying to play with it and didn't have much success getting bubbles out of it. It was very hot outside so we tried for about 5 minutes and got some bubbles though we didn't get bubbles every time, and I am not sure why that happened. Here are some pictures of him trying to get some bubbles by swinging it around and by blowing it with his mouth.

Check out this Stylin' Dude!
Okay so I came out of my office today to have Brant telling me "Mommy, look at me, look at me!" This is what he was wearing. I started giggling then ran to get my camera so you could all see it.
Here he is wearing Mommy's workout shoes, workout headband, and a ponytail holder as a bracelet.
I want a Chino!
Brant is addicted to Starbucks Frappachinos (the cream based ones with no coffee in them). I let him try one a long time ago and he just loves them. If you point to a Starbucks sign and ask him what it is he will tell you it is a Chino store, and ask if he can get a chino. We went to Starbucks this morning with Tina, Emily and Claire and had a Frappachino and he also had a donut. I got a few pictures of him and the girls with their drinks. Here they are my chino lovers!

Sprinklers!
Brant really loves the sprinkler that he got for his birthday from Denny and Ci-Ci so we pulled it out again after we got back from Vegas and let him have fun. He cracks me up because he acts scared of getting wet, but loves it. Here are some pictures of him having fun in the sprinkler the day after we got back from Vegas.

Vegas Baby!
Well we are back from Vegas, and we had a blast! It was so awesome of my parents to watch Brant for two days each so we could have our first vacation just the two of us since Brant was born. We stayed at The Hotel. Yes, the name of the hotel we stayed at was actually The Hotel, and it is attached to Mandalay Bay and we had privileges for everything at Mandalay Bay. Our hotel is all suites so are room was big and nice, especially compared to the tiny room we had at the MGM when we went to Vegas back in 2005 just before I found out I was pregnant with Brant. The first night we just stayed in an watched X-men on television because we were worn out. The second day we went to the beach at Mandalay Bay and hung out mostly at the Lazy River and relaxed in the sun, then we gambled some and went to see Howie Mandel, he was okay but his headliner was much better. The next day we went to the beach at Mandalay Bay and the Lazy River again, and then we went to the Aquarium in Mandalay Bay. We at a ton of wonderful food while we were there, the best meal was our first night in Vegas at Strip Steak and it was also our most expensive meal. They give you amazingly yummy potato bread and three different kinds of fries and dipping sauces as free appetizers. We each had a yummy steak meal there and had the waitress take our picture. Our second favorite meal was at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant at MGM before we went to see Howie Mandel we had some gnocchi bolonaise and a pizza and split it. The gnocchi was so darn yummy I would have eaten several plates of it. Everyone always says to eat at the buffets and so we tried the buffet our last night in Vegas and we weren't very impressed it seemed like overpriced Golden Corral food so we wont be going the buffet route again or at least the expensive buffet route. We really enjoyed the aquarium and Jason played some black jack, did some sports betting, and played a little slots while I just played the slots. We didn't win any money, but we had fun and didn't lose more than what we budgeted and we actually spent less than we had budgeted! All in all it was a wonderful trip and I am so glad we went. I am glad to be home though, and able to sleep in my own bed and have all the comforts of home like my computer and internet (they charged $15 a day for internet access at The Hotel so we only got it for one day). Here are some pictures from our trip.
