It's Pumpkin Time!

Brant had such a great time pushing all the pieces of his pumpkin face in.  One of the amazing ladies I work with was sweet enough to send me home with a great big pumpkin so I didn't have to try to go out and find a decent one.  We decorated him together, and doing one side was not enough Brant wanted it to have two faces so that it had a face on either side, and wanted to try for a third when we were done but I told him that two was enough.  It was a fun time putting our pumpkin face together and I'm glad we have this pictures to remember it once it is gone.

Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch!

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch in Flowermound, Texas and had a great time together as a family. Brant went through the small hay maze, several times and one time was even an adorable little gentleman and led a little girl with him holding her hand through the hay maze. He also attempted the big hay maze but ended up not finishing it and coming back out to the start. We got pictures of him in many fun spots like the wooden tractor, the blow up slide, at different picture taking spots and of course in the pumpkin patch itself! We also stopped to get some food to eat in the car on the way home, Brant really wanted a corn dog but the lines were really long since it was the corn dog and funnel cake booth, so he settled for a sausage on a stick like the one we all shared at the State Fair of Texas and Mommy got a cheeseburger. Daddy didn't feel like eating since they had just had a big breakfast about 2 hours before we left for the pumpkin patch so he just had some of Brant's sausage on a stick. We all had a blast and I'm looking forward to the fun we'll have next year and scrapping the pictures from this year!

Here are a bunch of pictures from today, Brant was getting a little frustrated at times with his mammarazzi Mom and you can tell by the look on his face in some of the pictures but I think those pictures are just too cute too!

Spider-Boy!

Brant LOVES his Spider-Man costume that he got to wear for Halloween, and it has already gotten a workout. Brant wears is usually about once a week sometimes more to watch his Spider-Man movies or just to watch TV in. Jason has taught him how to do the hand motions to shoot webs and he is really cute shooting his webs and making sound effects for the webs to come out. I got out my camera today and took some shots of him in his costume with his hood on and without. Here they are:

Fair Fun!

We took Brant for his first trip to the State Fair of Texas this year and we had a great time! We were worried that it would rain us out since it was raining that morning, but it made sure that the weather was nice and cool for us at the fair and the clouds gave it a more private feel. While we were there we got to see some mounted police that were there to help with security since Oprah was supposed to be coming that day. We didn't stick around to see her since we wanted to get in more sights before heading home to Brant a nap. We each took Brant for a ride or two and Brant rode a few rides alone, Brant and I each had a corn dog he had his with ketchup and I had mine with mustard. Daddy got his usual Turkey leg and we all ended up trying a sausage on a stick later. Before we left we all had some funnel cake and it was really yummy! Brant had a blast and even got to play in some sand in a huge sand pile they had in one of the buildings where people pop out at you constantly trying to sell you things. I am really glad we went this year and that we all had such a good time. Brant did like the rides, though he got scared like Mommy does when things went up in the air. He does not seem to like heights so much, I hope he doesn't get Mommy's motion sickness with rides later on, but no one got sick this trip so it was a success! I also got Brant to stop and pose by a gorgeous water feature, a fountain, and a tree and got some good shots of him. All the excitement and walking was a little much for Brant and he fell asleep in the truck on the way home. Here are several pictures from today.
