Texas SNOW in March?

Wow, I couldn't believe how much snow we got yesterday. We got several inches that actually stuck around overnight and into the following day. I took Brant outside to play in the snow and he had a great time stomping in the snow, running through the snow, throwing the snow into the air and saying it was rain, and just exploring through the pretty blanket of white all over the backyard yesterday. Here are some of the pictures.

Chartity Basketball game

Last week Brant and I attended a Hoops for Heart game with our school (Chisholm Trail Intermediate) competing against Trinity Meadows Intermediate. The game was packed and was standing room only. We stayed until half-time and Brant had a great time waving a pennant, jumping up and down on my legs, and yelling yes and no at the appropriate times. Unfortunately we did lose by a large margin, but our school had the most spirit and heart, and hopefully we'll beat them next year. He was so pumped up when we got home we had a hard time getting him to bed that night, but I think it was worth it. Since it was just us I couldn't handle my camera too, but luckily one of my sweet students let one of her friends borrow her camera and she took our picture. Here we are having a great time in the stands.

SHOW OFF BRANT!

Brant went to see his Nanny today with Daddy and we filmed him at the table singing, and showing off and not aknowleging any of the stuff he did at Nanny's house today. He did have a good time at Nanny's playing with cars, her statue dogs (even though he was a little scared of them), and loving on his Nanny giving her hugs and kisses. He loves his Nanny!

I tried to get Brant to show off his dancing on Wednesday, but instead he wanted to play around and look at the camera. He gets his extreme close-up during the video and I also had him show off saying his name some of his favorite words.

Sleepy Head

Brant decided to get up early this Saturday at 6:30 AM and around 7:00 we went to get some donuts together and had breakfast. He was so tired that he fell asleep on his Elmo couch while he was watching Doodlebops around 10:30AM, when I got him up about 30 minutes later he crawled into Mommy and Daddy's bed and went back to sleep for another 30-45 minutes snuggled up to Mommy. I didn't mind the snuggle time so I let him sleep on me while I read a book. I'm glad I got to have that snuggle time since he always seems to be on the go lately. I took some pictures of him asleep in the pack 'n play on his Elmo couch. He the cutest little sleepy head.

I needed to get some shots of Brant to use for my new February desktop so I pulled out my camera today after his nap (the second nap) and took some shots. Brant was happy to oblige and posed for a few pictures for me before he got bored and ran off to do other things. Daddy got in a few shots with him also so I got to get some shots of my best boys together.
