Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo Brant is TWO!

We had Brant's Thomas the Train themed birthday party yesterday at our house. It was a small group of people and that made it all the more fun for Brant. He had his two favorite female playmates Claire and Emily, and my teammate at school Cody's daugher Katie Gordon (yes she goes by both names like Mary Kate). The girls and Brant colored wooden trains, played in Brant's playroom, played in his Thomas pop-up tent that he got for Christmas, and of course there were snacks, presents, and CAKE! Brant did a great job opening his presents while he sat with his Daddy. He also was such a good boy eating the majority of his cake with his fork so he didn't get near as messy as last year even though he did want to dive straight into the cake after blowing out the candles (thank goodness Daddy got it away quickly). We all had a great time and look forward to what this year will bring our big boy!

Here are some pictures from the party.
