This Wednesday one of my sweet students Maddie gave me a cupcake to take home to Brant after bringing some for a project for Language Arts class. He did not have time to eat it on Wednesday so on Thursday I know it sounds backward, but I needed Brant to take a bath (he had wood chips all in his hair and smelled like sweat and sunscreen) so I bribed him with the cupcake to take a bath (he was starting to get fussy about not wanting a bath). Brant took a bath and afterward got to eat his cupcake. The cupcake did get mostly in his mouth but he did get quite a cute little yellow icing mustache and it started to curve around his mouth some into a goatee kind of like his Daddy's. I guess this is the closest he will get to having a goatee for a long while ( I hope). He loved the cupcake of course and asked for another one when he was finished, but there was only one and so I cleaned him up (after taking some pictures of course) and then we sat down to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together. I love the expression he showed while I was taking his picture. He has such joy in everything he does it is inspirational. Here are the pictures of him finishing up his cupcake.
