Busy Day

We started out the morning with Mommy taking a picture session of Brant to show off how he tells you how old he is with his fingers and the number three. He doesn't show three fingers the way most kids do but two fingers and his thumb to make a three like they do in sign language. I think its pretty cute, but he didn't want to cooperate very well except when he was making his newest silly face.

After the picture session I got ready to go and we went for a shopping trip to Toys R Us to spend the money that my friend Cheryl gave him for his birthday. He had fun looking at all the toys and had difficulty deciding what he wanted to get. We left Toys R Us with a Speed Racer car and Speed Racer figure, Batman figure with a car, and of course a new ball.

Next we went out to lunch with Aunt Mo and Riley at Red Robin. Brant sat next to Riley while Aunt Mo and I tried to snap some pictures of them. They didn't want to smile like we know they can, but they are too cute together anyway.

When lunch was over we made a trip over to Starbucks and got a vanilla bean cream frappacino (made with milk not coffee) and shared that as we went to our next stop. The next stop was Michaels to pick out a new album for me to scrapbook Brant from year three to four in. He picked out a red album with circles on it. He wanted to get a pink one with flowers, but his mean Mommy wouldn't let him.

Finally we came home and he is now trying (or rather not really trying) to take a nap. We have had a busy day and it is only half over.

Here are some pictures from today.
